10 Goals for ESL Readers!

When learning a second language, we become very selfish and apprehensive when having others help us learn. The process is usually slower than anything else we’ve learned, and it’s difficult to accept assistance when feelings of insecurity and potential failure loom overhead. These feelings also exist when learning to read, especially when others your age and in your class are able to read more and better than you. Regardless if you feel this way, each person reading and wanting to read more and learn more should set out individual goals for themselves. Setting goals, in no specific order, creates a sense of accomplishment when completed and provides a tangible object to see and motivates to read more. Remember, reading should be fun and achieved through your own self-discoveries. Here, we’re going to look at 10 possible goals you can set for yourself to become a better reader in English!
