Carolyn Watson Dubisch

Carolyn Watson Dubisch is an accomplished author and illustrator with 17 children’s books to her name, along with illustrating five additional children’s books for various authors. She also creates comics for kids, with titles like “The Horribles,” “After The Robots Died,” and “The Dragon in The Closet” among her works. As both a writer and artist, she has contributed to projects like designing alien bird-men for Star Wars games and coloring Wolverine and Silver Surfer comics for Marvel. Her writing and illustrations have also appeared in children’s magazines such as Highlights for Children, Hopscotch, and Whimsy.

Currently, Carolyn resides in a beachside home in Mazatlán, Mexico, with her husband, Mike Dubisch, who is also a sci-fi fantasy artist and writer, and their youngest daughter. Their household is completed by an elderly dog and four lively Mexican street cats that add excitement to their daily lives.
